Founded in 1988, Motionhouse is a leading UK dance company. They believe in the power of dance to enrich lives, regardless of age, background or financial means, and their mission is to make world-class dance accessible to as many people as possible.

Reaching 100,000+ people each year through outstanding dance-circus productions that integrate elements of circus and acrobatics, Motionhouse are acclaimed for their striking theatricality, powerful narratives and pioneering use of digital technology.

Their work is aimed at broad, family audiences with no previous dance knowledge or experience, and they tour widely across the UK and internationally to venues large and small, indoors and outdoors, attracting diverse audiences in communities often with limited arts provision. Their extensive education, training and community programme delivers impactful dance projects in schools and community settings across Warwickshire, the West Midlands and further afield, with a participation reach of approximately 10,000 a year. They have worked with most schools in their local area, have an active youth company and reach approximately 100 people aged from 4 to 60+ each week through classes in their studio in Leamington Spa.
