Sanskruti Cambridge CIC
Apple ‘N’ Spice

Best Family Arts Activity Winner

“The show was fantastic. Inclusive and exciting. Lovely juxtaposition between something the children know (Snow White) and Rama.” – Parent

Apple ‘N’ Spice brings together two stepmothers, one from the Indian tale of Ramayana and the other from Snow White.

This multicultural work has toured extensively with sold out shows in 2022 and continues to tour in 2023-2024. It combines spoken word, shadow puppetry, Bharatanatyam, and the Western style of Contemporary Dance and music. The show was aimed at children of 3 years+ and their families, and encouraged the young audience to try the dance moves themselves with the performers as a part of the show.
