Little Curve Workshops
Best Family Arts Activity Nominee
“My toddler thrived in the Little Curve sessions – she loved dancing, singing and expressing herself creatively.” – Parent
The Little Curve Workshops are weekly creative arts classes for children aged 18 months to 4 years, and their parents, carers and/or grandparents.
Led by an in-house team from Curve’s Creative Programmes department, each session explores different art forms, including storytelling or creative dance, music and movement.
Curve is one of the UK’s leading producing theatres. Each year, over 750,000 people engage with Curve through performances and projects at their home in Leicester, across the UK and internationally. In 2022-23 over 30,000 individuals participated in a Creative Programmes activity initiated by Curve.
Under the leadership of Chief Executive Chris Stafford and Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, Curve has developed an international reputation for producing, programming and touring a bold and diverse programme of musicals, plays, new work, dance and opera. All of this is presented alongside a dynamic mix of community engagement, artist development and learning programmes, which firmly places audiences, artists and communities at the heart of everything the theatre does. Curve believes everyone who lives, works or learns in their city should have access to great art and culture.
