24 Stories of Family Arts

Super Sparkle
Tick Tock and the Christmas Clock

Best Family Arts Activity Nominee

“Exploring the senses and the small things through the eyes of a puppet helped children to engage and interact at their own level.” – Performer

Tick Tock and the Christmas Clock was a 30 minute performance with live and original music, puppetry, handmade sets and an original script.

The performance was inspired by children’s ideas and was delivered as part of the Winter Wonderland event with Bulwell Forest garden. The show was about finding the magic in the countdown to Christmas and using the senses to experience this feeling.

Super Sparkle provides interactive, theatrical and creative experiences for children and their families across the Midlands. Originally set up as an events company back in 2013, they quickly grew to offering more than parties and entertainment at corporate events and now provide original storytelling theatre, drama-based workshops, early years drama classes, CPD for early years practitioners and teachers, as well as parties and virtual events across the UK.

Their ethos is to spark young imaginations and empower children to be the superstars they are! Through their parties, community storytelling performances, weekly activities and workshops in schools and community spaces, their aim is to use the creative arts (and magic!) as a way of giving a voice to young people.
