Build advocacy and support for your family work with Audience Finder
Get graphs and metrics to help you make a case for support for your family network.
Audience Finder is a free data analysis programme from our partners The Audience Agency, funded by Arts Council England. It provides tools for collecting and analysing data which builds a clear picture of audiences locally and nationally. This enables cultural organisations to find new audience opportunities by sharing, comparing and applying insight.
In this guest blog series we have looked at what we know about families from existing Audience Finder data, how to create a family-focused survey, and how to profile your audiences using Audience Spectrum.
Now, it’s time to put all of that knowledge together to build advocacy and support for your family work, supported by data from Audience Finder.
Audience Finder research demonstrates that the profiles of family audiences vary across the country. Wherever you are, in order to target your offering most effectively and make a specific case for support it’s important to assess where you are and where you want to go. Your key areas of consideration will be:
- your present audience profile
- your catchment area and it’s profile
- your organisation’s audience aspirations
Audience Finder hands you graphs and metrics for the first two and provides a framework to start thinking about the third.
